Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon played just 13 snaps in Thursday's loss to the Titans, catching his only target for 10 yards and adding a seven-yard run to his totals as well. Yeldon had been targeted at least three times in every game before this one, and had been shaping into a solid PPR play in deeper leagues, but Thursday was a tough blow to Yeldon's fantasy prospects if this is indicative of what it will look like when both Cody Kessler and Leonard Fournette are on the field for the Jags.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back TJ Yeldon is coming off a solid Week 13 performance where he established himself as one of Cody Kessler's favorite checkdown options. However, with fellow running back Leonard Fournette returning to action in Week 14, Yeldon will see a decrease in snaps and targets. Yeldon is still the second option out of the Jacksonville backfield but has only seen one productive week when sharing snaps with Fournette. The duo faces a stout Tennessee run defense which is bound to cause issues, which leads to Yeldon being a tough play in Week 14 despite his volume as a receiving back.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon caught seven passes for 49 yards in Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts. He added 16 rushing yards on eight carries as well. Yeldon's role as the pass-catching back shouldn't change much with Leonard Fournette (suspension) back next week, and he remains an intriguing but ultimately low-ceiling PPR option.
