Los Angeles Chargers Pro Bowl linebacker Joey Bosa, who is listed at 280 pounds, said he dropped to between 260 and 265 pounds last season and has remained at that weight ever since. "It's more about speed," Bosa said. "When I'm putting up better numbers, strength-wise, than I ever was, I don't think there's really a reason to put on any more weight." In his sophomore season, Bosa proved why he was the third overall pick in the 2016 draft, compiling 70 tackles and 12.5 sacks for the Bolts. He has become a premiere edge rusher and has 23 sacks in his first two seasons. Bosa is an elite IDP pick.

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa recently had surgery to repair a dislocated finger. Dealing with the issue since 2016, Bosa played through it for the entire 2017 season. Bosa dominated as a second-year pro, recording 12.5 sacks. He is emerging as one of the best defensive players in the NFL.

The Los Angeles Chargers defense has proven to be quite beastly, and defensive ends Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram are one of the big reasons for that. Bosa is leading DEs in Pro Bowl voting, and both he and Ingram are in the top 10 in sacks this season. Facing a winless Browns team this week that has been sacked the third-most in the NFL will almost assuredly help pad those numbers even more. Combined with Casey Hayward, who is tied for third in the league in interceptions, expect the Chargers defense to get the job done once again against Cleveland.
