Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard will face a stingy Vikings run defense in Week 11. It has been a disappointing season for the third-year running back to this point in the season dealing with a diminished role in a new offense. But Howard has flashed some of his potential over the past few games, posting four touchdowns over his last four games. But he will have a tough task producing against a Vikings defense that is allowing the ninth fewest fantasy points to the running back position. Minnesota has not allowed a single running back to post more than 83 rushing yards against them and have allowed only two rushing touchdowns all season. Howard will be a touchdown-dependent RB3 in Week 11.
Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard carried the ball 11 times for 21 yards and added one catch for 11 yards in the Bears win over the Lions. The Bears offense exploded in the first half but Howard was unable to get in on the fun. Even with a huge lead in the second half Howard was often stopped at the line of scrimmage for minimal gains. It has been a difficult season for the third-year running back as the Bears running game has taken a back seat to the passing attack. Howard came into the game with four touchdowns over his last three games but will have to try and bounce back next week against the Vikings.
Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard has four touchdowns over his last three games heading into the team's Week 10 tilt against the Lions. Howard has been running harder during this mini-resurgence and now will go up against a Lions defense that is allowing the ninth most fantasy points to opposing backs. Detroit has allowed four running backs over the last three weeks to post 10-plus fantasy points against them and Howard torched the Lions for 125 yards and a touchdown in 2017. Look for the Bears to continue to lean on the running game, making Howard an RB2 with upside for Week 10.
