Mitch Trubisky Has Chance To Light Up Eagles

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky will make his first ever playoff appearance against the Eagles this Sunday in the Wild Card Round. Trubisky finished the season on a high note despite failing to light up the fantasy scoreboard over the last month of the season. But he should see plenty of opportunities to take shots down the field against an Eagles defense that allowed the 11th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. The Eagles have allowed 250-plus passing yards to 13 different quarterbacks this season and Trubisky is averaging 246.5 passing yards a game in eight home performances with 19 touchdowns this season. Add to the mix Trubisky's ability to make plays with his legs and the second-year quarterback will be a top-5 fantasy option among the eight quarterbacks slated to play this weekend.

Mitch Trubisky Guides Bears To Victory

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 18 of 26 passes for 163 yards in the Bears 24-10 win over the Vikings. The Bears opted for the ground-and-pound offense against their division rival but Trubisky was money converting several third down passes. One season removed from posting a 7:7-TD:INT ratio, Trubisky finishes the season completing 66.6% of his passes for 3,223 yards, 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Add to the mix 421 rushing yards and three rushing scores and the second-year quarterback has emerged as a top-15 option in fantasy among quarterbacks. It is hard to predict how Trubisky will fare in the playoffs but will have a solid shot at a positive fantasy production against a leaky Eagles secondary in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

Mitch Trubisky Accurate In Gritty Win

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 25 of 29 passes for one touchdown in the Bears 14-9 win over the 49ers. It wasn't pretty but the second-year quarterback put together drives when the team needed it. Trubisky was accurate, especially when rolling to his left to find receiver Anthony Miller in the end zone for a touchdown. Trubisky has been boom-or-bust this season and will be a risky play in Week 17 against a Vikings defense he has struggled against thus far in the early parts of his career.
