New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara will be looking to produce against the Falcons in Week 3. Kamara enjoyed an elite fantasy season in 2017 and is off to a great start this season with 240 total yards and three touchdowns through two games. But the talented running back was stifled by the Falcons last season, totaling only 117 yards from scrimmage and zero touchdowns in two games. Atlanta seemed to be one of the few teams last season to hold down Kamara but the Falcons currently have allowed the seventh most fantasy points to running backs thus far. Past statistics aside, Kamara needs to be active in all formats.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara rushed for 46 yards and added 53 receiving yards in the Saints 21-18 comeback win over the Browns. Kamara caught six passes in a game where the Browns defense held the Saints to three points in the first half. But a furious comeback in the fourth quarter set the Saints up for the victory and Kamara remained consistent throughout the game. Even on a day when Kamara was a bit quiet offensively, he still almost posted over 100 yards from scrimmage.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara could see a slight reduction in touches moving forward. Kamara was on the field for 52 snaps during Week 1 and head coach Sean Payton says it was largely due to the fact that the Saints were playing from behind. Payton also mentioned that despite Kamara looking excellent in Week 1, he does plan on getting running backs Mike Gillislee and Jonathan Williams more touches in future weeks. Kamara still remains an RB1 option in all formats. Although he may not be on the field for 52 snaps, his typical workload is about 40-45 snaps, which is more than enough for Kamara to continue being a top fantasy point producer. Even with a slight increase in touches, Gillislee and Williams remain low-end fantasy option with little upside.
