The younger Watt is now tied with Bengals defensive tackle Geno Watkins for the NFL lead with six sacks on the year. He has now been named the AFC's Defensive Player of the Week twice this year and has totaled a healthy 28 tackles, a forced fumble and fumble recovery along with his six sacks. T.J. Pittsburgh Steelers rookie linebacker T.J. Watt has been impressing coaches during his first training camp with the team. The rookie is coming off a two-sack game in his first preseason action this past Friday and, according to linebackers coach Joey Porter, he has a good chance at opening the season as one of the team's starting outside linebackers. That would presumably push 39-year-old veteran James Harrison to a reserve role, although it was mentioned that Harrison will still play a big role with the team. Watt is shaping up as a top-10 linebacker in IDP rookie drafts.
