Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott made two field goals in Week 5 along with an extra point. His field goals came from 30 and 28 yards out. Elliott has been a solid fantasy kicker this season, making all eight of his extra point attempts and six of his eight field goal tries.
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott was not very busy in Week 1. That could change with a succulent matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. New Orleans put up 40 points and 475 yards of total offense against Tampa Bay last week. Saints kicker Will Lutz, who is excellent, tallied six of those points as he made all four of his kicks -- three extra points and one field goal. On the other hand, the Eagles offense managed just 232 total yards and 18 points in their season opener. Elliott was perfect on both of his kick attempts, including a 26-yard field goal, to finish with four points. The second-year pro has made 27 of 32 field goal attempts for his career, although he also missed three extra-point tries last season. With Philadelphia expected to put up at least 24 points against Tampa Bay, Elliott is a top-eight play.
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott (concussion) has passed the concussion protocol and will be able to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Elliott suffered a concussion while covering a kickoff in the last Eagles game, but he was able to make his way through the NFL's protocol in time to be ready for Sunday. The Eagles have Caleb Sturgis (groin) on Injured Reserve, and they considered activating him if Elliott wasn't going to be ready for Sunday's game. Instead, Elliott will be on the field and Sturgis will remain on the shelf.
