David Moore Struggles Again

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore may be an incredibly exciting player, but his dry streak continued this week in San Francisco. The second-year receiver caught just one ball for nine yards, and he was only targeted three times. The other two targets were uncatchable ones in crunch time, so owners can see this as both a good sign (that he was targeted when the game was on the line) and a bad one (that he wasnt targeted for the vast majority of the game). Moore is a gifted receiver who has a flair for the dramatic, but nothing makes up for usage. It looks like hes nothing but a total long shot to score any real fantasy points in any given week.

David Moore Makes Highlights That Don’t Count

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore was shut out on the box score, but it wasnt for lack of trying. Moore was targeted five times, and he missed making a game-changing touchdown by centimeters. Moore snagged a long pass down in the end zone, but his second foot just barely missed dragging inbounds and the pass was ruled incomplete. It would have been a heroic moment for Moore as the game was such a slugfest, but instead, it looks like he did nothing of substance. Owners should still feel confident that Moore is a desirable target in Seattles receiving corps, even if he got shut out.

David Moore Shut Out Against 49ers

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore was held without a single target against the 49ers on Sunday. Moore has been a revelation this season, so the lack of usage was surprising, but Seattle also only threw the ball 17 times on the day. Moore did get to play a role in the teams best end zone dance of the game when he caught the ball in a recreation of Richard Shermans famous tipped interception from the 2014 NFC Championship Game. Expect Moore to be back in the action next week, though Minnesota will be bringing a much stingier defense to the game than SF did.
