Brian Allen News
Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen (calf) will miss the rest of the season with a calf strain that he suffered early in the Monday night loss to the Green Bay Packers, according to head coach Sean McVay. The Rams offensive line has been the most banged up O-line in the league this year, and Allen's injury is the latest in a long string of them in 2022. Coleman Shelton, who started at right guard on Monday before moving to center to replace Allen, will be the team's starting center for the final three games. He and Rob Havenstein are the only healthy offensive linemen of the five who started in Week 1. Allen played only seven games this year, including the two snaps he played on Monday before leaving. The Rams offense could be in for another tough day in Week 16 against the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day.
Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen (calf) is questionable to return to his team's Monday Night Football contest against the Green Bay Packers. Allen remained down on the field following the second play of the game and had to be helped off by the Rams medical team with what is being called a calf injury. The Rams slid Coleman Shelton over from guard to center and brought Oday Aboushi in off of the bench to take over at guard to cover for Allen's injury. Look for the Rams to update Allen's injury status at some point before the conclusion of the game.
