New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning's agent, Tom Condon, believes that his client will be back with the Giants in 2019 for his 16th NFL season. I think hed love to come back, said Condon, the driving force behind the powerful Creative Artists Agencys football division. Guys love to play their whole careers with one team, if they have a good experience with that team. Whether Manning accepts a salary reduction in 2019 might be the deciding factor for whether the Giants bring him back. He's on the books for $17 million in the final season of his contract. The veteran QB had a passer rating of 92.4 this year and completed a career-high 66 percent of his passes for 4,299 yards, 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Manning didn't look as good as his numbers suggest in 2018, but he might still be the starter in 2019 if he returns. With limited upside at this point in his career, Manning is merely a mediocre QB2 target if he's starting.

New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman isn't necessarily committed to keeping quarterback Eli Manning as the starter in 2019. "I'm committed to making the best decision in the interest of the Giants. Were in the evaluation process. I know you want answers now," Gettleman said. Manning turns 38 on Thursday and is clearly fading at the end of his career. He completed a career-high 66 percent of his passes in 2018 and threw for 4,299 yards with 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, but he didn't look as good as the numbers show. Arm strength is also an issue as he ages. If he returns as the starter for New York next year, he'll merely be a low-upside QB2 target.
