Former NFL receiver Jerry Rice and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown remain in contact and Rice said on Monday that Brown wants to play for the San Francisco 49ers. Brown had a dustup with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger before Week 17 and sat out of practices before being ruled inactive in the regular season finale. He's publicly requested a trade and Pittsburgh is likely to grant his wish despite taking a salary cap hit. He'll turn 31 in July and has six straight seasons of at least 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns. Brown would remain an elite WR1 if he went to San Francisco and was paired with Jimmy Garoppolo.

The Denver Broncos are expected to be one of many teams interested in trading for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, and rival general managers predict the Steelers will be able to get at least a second-round pick for him. The Jets, 49ers and Colts could be other teams looking to land Brown. Any team in the NFL would be happy to have one of the best receivers in the league on their team, but the question is are they willing to give up a high pick for the headaches that Brown could bring to the locker room? The 30-year-old has six straight 1,000-yard seasons and has scored double-digit touchdowns in four of the last five seasons. Wherever he's playing in 2019, he'll be a first-round fantasy selection.
