New York Giants kicker Graham Gano is a viable option in leagues that use kickers in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears. After not attempting a single field goal in Week 1, the veteran kicker has now made seven of his eight field-goal attempts in the past two weeks. The 35-year-old kicker has converted at least three field goals in each of the past two games, including four 50-plus-yard field goals. The Giants are slated to face the Bears in what is expected to be an ugly game at home, so Gano could see plenty of opportunities to kick field goals on Sunday.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (ribs, concussion) was cleared from the league's concussion protocol on Saturday and will play in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cooper suffered a concussion in a Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams but was able to pass through the steps to return to the field in short order, putting him in line to take advantage of a plus matchup against a Jacksonville defense that is allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. Cooper sets up as a solid WR3 in Week 14.
Cleveland Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins made both of his field goals and one of his two extra points in a Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Hopkins has been a reliable kicker for the Browns in 2023 as he's made 30 of his 33 field goals and all but two of his 18 extra points. Hopkins will kick against the Jacksonville Jaguars at home in Week 14. The Jaguars have been tough on opposing kickers this season as they are allowing just the 29th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Hopkins is a middling fantasy kicker in Week 14 thanks to a Cleveland offense that has struggled to move the ball at times since Deshaun Watson was lost for the season after Week 10.
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku was quiet in a Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, catching just two passes for 17 yards. The Browns ran more two-tight end sets in Week 13 as Harrison Bryant wound up drawing five targets from Joe Flacco. Njoku should see more than two catches in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, although Jacksonville has been tough on tight ends as they are allowing just the 20th-most fantasy points per game to the position this season. That being said, Njoku should reemerge as one of the team's top targets in Week 14. Treat him as a low-end TE1 this weekend.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore drew 12 targets from Joe Flacco in a Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Targets haven't been an issue for Moore in 2023 as he is averaging 7.08 per game. Moore's issue has been turning those targets into production as he has just 501 receiving yards and one touchdown in 12 games. The Browns will head back home to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14 in what sets up as a plus matchup for receivers as the Jags are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the position this season. Teammate Amari Cooper (ribs, concussion) cleared the league's concussion protocol on Saturday and will play, which will put a bit of a damper on Moore's ceiling. Treat Moore as a flex option against the Jaguars in Week 14.
Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt picked up 48 rushing yards on 12 carries in Week 13, although he was held out of the end zone for the third straight game. Hunt missed practice with a groin injury on Wednesday but he was upgraded to a full session by Friday and does not have an injury designation on the team's final injury report of the week so he should be fine to play on Sunday. In Week 14, Hunt will look to break his three-game scoreless streak at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have been average against the run this season, allowing the 17th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Hunt has worked his way into a nearly even split with Jerome Ford, although Hunt is barely catching any passes for the Browns this season (10 catches on 13 targets in 10 games). Hunt has been the team's preferred back near the goal line, which keeps him in play as a decent flex in Week 14.
Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford caught three passes, including a touchdown pass from quarterback Joe Flacco, in a Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Ford will look to score his seventh total touchdown in Week 14's home matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have been league-average against the run and are allowing the 17th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs in 2023. Ford has been splitting touches pretty evenly with Kareem Hunt of late, but the former remains the team's preferred option in the passing game, which keeps him on the board as a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 heading into Week 14.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco did a decent job moving the ball in a Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, especially considering it was his first time playing since the end of the 2022 season. With another week under his belt, Flacco will look to keep it going at home in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have been a fantastic matchup for fantasy quarterbacks this season as they are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Flacco, however, could be without No. 1 wide receiver Amari Cooper (ribs, concussion), which limits his upside this Sunday. Treat the veteran as a low-end QB2 in Week 14.
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed quarterback Nathan Rourke to the active 53-man roster on Saturday from the practice squad, according to a source. Rourke will give the Jaguars some quarterback insurance this weekend with Trevor Lawrence (ankle) a game-time decision on Sunday following a high-ankle sprain he suffered in Monday night's overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Jacksonville hasn't ruled Lawrence out in Week 14, but the Rourke move might be a clue that he's on his way to being inactive. It wouldn't be a surprise, as athletes typically require anywhere from three to five weeks to return from high-ankle sprains. If Lawrence is officially inactive on Sunday morning, Rourke would serve as the backup to C.J. Beathard against the Cleveland Browns.
The Los Angeles Rams activated veteran kicker Mason Crosby from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster on Saturday in advance of the Week 14 game on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The Rams signed the 39-year-old kicker earlier this week as competition for Lucas Havrisik, who has missed three of his 10 field-goal attempts for LA since replacing Brett Maher. It's unclear at this point who will actually kick for the Rams this weekend, but fantasy managers should be looking elsewhere. Crosby hasn't kicked at all in 2023 but spent 16 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, making 81.4% of his 485 field-goal attempts and going 733-for-753 on his extra points in 258 career regular-season games. The Rams are looking for some stability at the position for once this year.
Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps) hasn't suffered any setbacks in his recovery from a strained right quadriceps, according to sources, but he isn't quite ready to return in Week 14 against the New York Jets and will spend another week on Injured Reserve. As a result, the Texans will elevate Matt Ammendola from the practice squad to the active roster to kick against his former team on Sunday. Fairbairn will now miss his fifth game due to his quad injury, leaving Ammendola as the starter against the Jets this weekend. Fantasy managers should be able to find better options at the position. The 26-year-old Ammendola has made six of his nine field-goal tries and all 10 of his extra-point attempts in the four contests filling in for the hobbled Fairbairn.
