David Montgomery Looking To Exploit Colts’ Run Defense
Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery heads into a favorable Week 12 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, fresh off a two-touchdown performance in Week 11. Montgomery rushed 15 times for 75 yards and two scores while adding 20 yards on three receptions in Detroit's dominant 52-6 win over the Jaguars. With 10 touchdowns in 10 games, Montgomery remains the Lions' primary red-zone option, ranking ninth in red-zone touches and fourth in total touchdowns this season. Montgomery has been one of the most consistent backs in fantasy, finishing outside the top 24 just once this year. The Colts rank 28th against the run, allowing the sixth-most rushing yards per game and the second-most yards after contact per attempt. Expect Montgomery to capitalize on a positive game script and deliver another reliable performance for fantasy managers in Week 12.

Alec Ingold Questionable Again
Miami Dolphins running back Alec Ingold (calf) has been designated as questionable for the team's matchup against the New England Patriots this Sunday. It's the third consecutive week the sixth-year veteran has been given the questionable tag. Despite logging three limited practice sessions in Weeks 10 and 11, Ingold was ultimately inactive for the ensuing two contests. Miami hopes history doesn't repeat itself, as he was yet again limited all week leading up to their Week 12 home tilt. Last Sunday, the Dolphins compensated for the loss of Ingold by deploying tight ends Jonnu Smith and Julian Hill more frequently, and they may do so again if the veteran is forced to miss another game.

Christian Gonzalez Deemed Questionable For Week 12
New England Patriots defensive back Christian Gonzalez (hip) is officially questionable for Sunday's road tilt against the Miami Dolphins. The 22-year-old was a late addition to the Patriots' injury report with a hip ailment, putting his status for Sunday's divisional clash in doubt. The second-year corner has yet to miss a contest this season and currently leads the team in passes defensed. Safeties Marte Mapu (neck) and Kyle Dugger (ankle) are also questionable for the contest after they were both limited practice participants this week with their respective injuries. In total, New England has seven defensive players designated as questionable, so they could be in danger of being severely depleted against a Dolphins team that appears to be finding its legs offensively. If Gonzalez can't play, fellow DB Alex Austin projects to pick up the slack in New England's defensive backfield.

Adonai Mitchell A Risky Fantasy Play In Week 12
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell made a splash in Week 10 without Michael Pittman Jr. (six catches, 71 yards) but reverted to his status as the No. 4 receiver in Week 11 (one catch, 33 yards) and will assume that role again in Week 12 with a fully healthy receiving corps. The 22-year-old has speed and uses it for deep targets, sitting just outside the top 10 WRs in aDOT (14.2). However, without volume and with a notoriously inaccurate QB, the former second-round draft pick makes for a very risky fantasy play. If you're looking for a reason to use him, there is a strong possibility that as seven-point underdogs, the Colts will be trying to keep pace with the Lions for the entire game, which could mean a few additional deep targets for the rookie wideout. The product out of the University of Texas is a WR5/6 dart throw, even in a week with six teams on bye.

Ryan Bates Ruled Out Vs. Vikings
Chicago Bears offensive lineman Ryan Bates (concussion) has officially been ruled out for the team's home divisional clash against the Minnesota Vikings. Bates sustained a concussion in Chicago's 20-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old could not log even a limited session during this week's string of practices. The veteran has appeared in just three games this season while battling through elbow and shoulder injuries, and he'll now miss at least one more after not progressing through the league's concussion protocol. With Chicago also playing on Thanksgiving Day, he could be in danger of missing yet another contest. In his stead, teammate Teven Jenkins projects to hold down the Bears' left guard spot.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Primed For Big Week 12
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown heads into a Week 12 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts as one of the most reliable WR1 options in fantasy football. St. Brown is coming off an elite performance in Week 11, catching all 11 targets for 161 yards and two touchdowns, extending his touchdown streak to eight consecutive games. He ranks as the WR2 on the season, trailing only Ja'Marr Chase in fantasy points. St. Brown has exceeded 100 receiving yards in three games this season and thrives against zone defenses like the Colts, who rank 26th against the pass. Fantasy managers should continue to trust him as an elite WR1 option.

Alec Pierce Brings Big-Play Ability Into Week 12 Matchup With Lions
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce owns the largest percentage of his team's air yards (28.15%), but not only that, he leads the entire NFL in average depth of target (21.25) -- and it isn't even close. The downside for him is that he's received just four targets or less in eight of 11 contests. On the bright side, the 24-year-old usually makes the most of it, leading his team in reception yards (although Josh Downs is not far behind despite playing two fewer games) while recording a 30-plus yard reception in five of 11 weeks. Pierce figures to earn his usual share of deep shots in Week 12's matchup against the Lions, especially if the Colts -- who are seven-point underdogs -- find themselves trailing late in the game. The former second-round draft pick ranks in the WR5 range this week, but with his four TDs on the season, the third-year pro does possess some upside.

Jahmyr Gibbs Set For Another Big Week Against Colts
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs heads into Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts as a consistent RB1 option for fantasy managers. Gibbs has been electric, finishing as the RB6 last week after turning 12 touches into 123 total yards and a touchdown. He's a Top-6 RB in total fantasy points this season and ranks fifth in rushing yards, demonstrating his ability to maximize his opportunities. The Colts present a favorable matchup, ranking 28th against the run while allowing the sixth-most rushing yards per game and the second-most rushing attempts. Gibbs has scored five touchdowns in his last five games and surpassed 100 scrimmage yards six times this season. Working in tandem with David Montgomery, Gibbs remains a dynamic playmaker and should be locked in as an RB1 for Week 12.

Jared Goff Looks to Stay Hot In Week 12 Against Indianapolis
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff heads into Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts riding high after his best performance of the season last week. Goff ranks among the league's best in key metrics, leading all quarterbacks in yards per attempt while sitting second in passer rating and fifth in CPOE. The Colts defense has shown improvement recently but remains vulnerable, allowing the ninth-most completions and eighth-most passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. While Indy has tightened up since Week 6, Goff's efficiency and the Lions' offensive weapons should keep him in the mix as a solid QB1 option. With Detroit's potent scoring offense averaging 31.6 points per game, Goff is poised to remain productive for fantasy managers again in Week 12.

Michael Pittman Jr. Re-Enters WR3 Conversation In Week 12
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is having a quiet season thus far, but Week 11 gave us hope that he could still manufacture some worthwhile fantasy production with Anthony Richardson under center, garnering a team-high eight targets and turning it into five catches for 46 yards. Week 12 brings a matchup against the Lions in a game that boasts an over/under of 50 points, so there should be a decent amount of scoring on both sides. The Lions have been tough against the run this year but can be beaten through the air, having given up the sixth-most passing yards per game and seventh-most fantasy points to WRs. If this game goes to script, the Colts will be playing catch-up with the Lions throughout, which should mean plenty of targets for the receiving corps. Even though the 6-foot-4 wideout showed up on the injury report this week as he continues to battle through a back issue, he was listed as a full participant all week and has been cleared to play. All of this combined with the fact that six teams are on bye this week make the 27-year-old a low-end WR3 this week.

AJ Barner Looks Like He Will Be A Backup In Week 12
Seattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner has enjoyed a few weeks as the starter, but fellow tight end Noah Fant (groin) was a full participant in practice on Friday and is trending toward playing in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Barner did not do much with his opportunities, but he earned at least four targets in each of his last two games. As a rookie tight end, Barner is better suited as a blocker for now. During his time as a starter, he displayed solid pass-catching chops and escape ability so he could emerge later in his career. If Fant is a surprise inactive on Sunday, then Barner would still not likely deserve much attention in fantasy. His best outing was a 6.7-point game in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams. That does not exactly get it done in fantasy. If you have Fant, then pay close attention to Barner just in case you need a last-minute dart throw. Otherwise, Barner should be on waivers.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Looks To Continue Top-10 Campaign
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in a great position to continue his ascending breakout in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. This may come as a surprise, but Smith-Njigba is actually the PPR WR10 in fantasy and he has already had his bye. Smith-Njigba has been relatively inconsistent this season, however, his last month of football has been pretty strong. The Cardinals' defense is much improved in 2024 but still imperfect. They are No. 17 against opposing wide receivers in fantasy. With fellow wide receiver DK Metcalf likely to be healthier in Week 12 than he was in his return in Week 11, Smith-Njigba could take a hit in targets. Even so, he has clearly earned the trust of quarterback Geno Smith. Most importantly, Smith has been looking Smith-Njigba's way far more than wide receiver Tyler Lockett on important downs which was not the case early in the season. This should be a high-scoring game with plenty of opportunities, and Smith-Njigba should absolutely be in your lineup.

DK Metcalf A Strong WR2 In Week 12
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf should have a strong game in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are a middle-of-the-road matchup for wide receivers in fantasy but Metcalf has been excellent for much of the season. He tends to also have strong showings against Arizona given that he faces them twice a year. The Seahawks moved to a more run-heavy attack in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. They wound up winning the game so that may be prescriptive moving forward. As such, Metcalf could see a dip in volume but he still earned nine targets in Week 11. This game should be close, but Metcalf is still in prime position to succeed as the team's No. 1 wide receiver. He should also be much healthier this week now that he is several weeks removed from his MCL sprain. Fire up Metcalf as a WR2 in Week 12.

Tyler Lockett A Risky Flex Option In Week 12
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett has been a low-end flex option throughout most of the season. He checks in as such in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals, but it comes with a lot of risk. Lockett's usage out of the Seahawks' Week 10 bye was puzzling and could be prescriptive for the rest of the season. Lockett was clearly operating as the Seahawks' No. 3 wide receiver in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. In his last three games played, Lockett has only averaged 3.3 targets per game after averaging 6.6 targets per game over his first seven games. The emergence of wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba as a preferred target for quarterback Geno Smith is eating significantly into Lockett's volume. With the Seahawks switching to a less pass-heavy attack after the bye week, there may not be enough targets to go around for the Seahawks' top three wide receivers. With six teams on a bye this week, Lockett is still a risky flex play.

Geno Smith Is Streamable In Week 12
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is in a great position to succeed against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12. The Cardinals are allowing 218.5 passing yards per game which is No. 21 in the league. The Seahawks were much more efficient as an offense and displayed balance in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. If the team made substantial changes during their Week 10 bye, then Smith should be able to take advantage of this positive matchup. The Cardinals roll into Seattle hot off a four-game winning streak and will be well-rested after a Week 11 bye. However, the Seahawks' receiving core should be fully healthy with wide receiver DK Metcalf off the injury report. Smith should be able to pass for over 200 yards and deliver a couple of touchdowns. In a week in which six teams are on a bye, Smith deserves to be in fantasy lineups.

Kenneth Walker III Checks In As An RB2 With Upside In Week 12
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is a high-end RB2 in Week 12. The Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals who are the No. 25 defense against opposing running backs in fantasy. Walker has been held in check of late in fantasy, but this is a great matchup for him to get things going. His volume continues to be excellent, particularly his passing game usage. It is only a matter of time before Walker begins to hit on big plays once again. As long as the Seahawks keep this game close, Walker has a chance to push for 20 carries. He should see around three targets as well. Additionally, the Seahawks made an effort to be more balanced in Week 11 after having time to evaluate their offense after their Week 10 bye. As a result, the offense was more efficient, and Walker had plenty of touches. Look for the Seahawks to strive for the same balance in Week 12 and for Walker to deliver for fantasy.

Jason Myers In Play With Six Teams On Bye
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers could have a solid outing in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. With the Seahawks likely able to move the ball well against the Cardinals, Myers should be in plenty of solid scoring positions. Myers matched his season high with 12 fantasy points against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. With the Seahawks looking more cohesive on offense last week, the arrow could be pointing up for Myers. Myers has connected on 14 of 17 field goals this year, including five from over 50 yards. His accuracy has not been an issue; however, his opportunities have. He should continue to display his talent this week. With six teams on a bye, Myers is a solid target as a fill-in attached to a good offense.

Jayden Reed A Low-End WR2 Play In Week 12
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has been a volatile pass-catching option for the Packers but looks to be on the good side of variance as the Packers host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Reed followed up a Week 9 where he had 113 receiving yards with a dud outing after the team's Week 10 bye. With just two receptions and 23 yards, Reed's performance was very disappointing, but at the very least, he did catch a touchdown to soften the blow. Against slot receivers, the 49ers have been incredibly stout, allowing just the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game. While Reed is the most dynamic pass-catching weapon the Packers have, he hasn't been immune to the team's offensive struggles. For Week 12, Reed is a low-end WR2 that we know has the upside for much more.

Josh Jacobs Will Suit Up In Week 12 Against 49ers
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (quadricep, calf) will suit up for the Packers in Week 12 after practicing in a limited fashion on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Jacobs was left off the injury report for their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers this week, and he could have some success against a 49ers' run defense that is much more susceptible. The 49ers are just 17th in EPA per rush attempt this season and since Week 6, have the second-highest missed-tackle rate since Week 6 and a middle-of-the-road success rate allowed (13th). Jacobs has been reliant on volume for the most part and that's been readily available to him this season in Green Bay. He'll be incredibly important for the Packers if they are to have success, so Jacobs could be in line for solid production as a back end RB1 for fantasy purposes.

Tyreek Hill Cleared To Play In Week 12
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) has been removed from the team's final Week 12 injury report on Friday and will play on Sunday versus the division-rival New England Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium. Hill was limited in practice on Wednesday and Friday while being a full-go on Thursday. He's reportedly dealing with a torn wrist ligament but hasn't missed any games because of it and should be considered a must-start in fantasy lineups this weekend. The eight-time Pro Bowler has a disappointing season line to this point (44-523-3) for his standards, but he's found the end zone in each of the last two weeks and appears to be finding his rhythm with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa again. The 30-year-old speedster has a good matchup on tap against a Patriots defense that has been a top-12 matchup for receivers this year in terms of half-PPR points allowed per game.
