Melvin Ingram Makes Critical Sack

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram was one of the 11 men tasked with holding the Chiefs impressive offense down for one series late in the fourth quarter on Thursday, and he did it in style. Facing a 3rd-and-13 from his own 8-yard line, MVP-candidate Patrick Mahomes was looking to make a big play to put the Chargers away. Instead, Ingram and Isaac Rochell were having none of it. The pair broke through the line and brought down Mahomes to ensure LAs offense would get one more chance. With that chance, the Chargers offense did their job and won the game. It wasnt an amazing game by the defense overall, but when the time came, Ingram and the rest of the boys stepped up and took care of business.

Melvin Ingram Lauded With Praise By Seahawks

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram was showered with praise when reporters asked Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson about him. Describing Ingram as one of the best defensive ends in the game, Wilson said he was a big fan of playing against Ingram except when Ingram was chasing him. Ingram's terrific performance against the Titans helped guide the Chargers to victory, and he'll need to put up another strong one this week against Seattle if LA looks to escape CenturyLink Field with a win. Seattle's offensive line has improved dramatically, so this is a risky play for fantasy owners, but don't be surprised if Ingram finds a way to make a major impact anyway.

Melvin Ingram Helps LA Win In England

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram was a force on Sunday against the Titans. Not only did he rack up five tackles and a sack, but he also tipped a Marcus Mariota pass in the red zone that was hauled in by linebacker Denzel Perryman. That was Mariota's first ever turnover in the red zone. Ingram would later be called on to lead the team for a defensive stand that would decide the game as he and his crew prevented the Titans from scoring a winning two-point conversion twice. The LA offense has certainly been showered with praise, but their defense is only allowing 23 points per game and a big part of their winning ways.
