Matt Paradis Signs Three-Year Deal With Panthers

The Carolina Panthers signed free-agent center Matt Paradis to an undisclosed three-year deal on Thursday. Paradis was an adequate starting center for the Broncos the last four seasons after he was a sixth-round pick in 2014. He suffered a broken leg midway through last season but is expected to start at center after Ryan Kalil retired following the 2018 season. Paradis started 57 straight games with Denver and played every offensive snap from 2015 until his injury last year.

Matt Paradis Could Be Done For The Season

There is concern that Denver Broncos center Matt Paradis (leg) suffered a fractured right fibula in Week 9 against the Texans. If that's the case, it would knock him out for the rest of the season. Paradis hadn't missed a snap as a starter dating back to 2014. It's a big loss for the Broncos running game, as Paradis has been one of the better centers in the league. Connor McGovern should shift over at center moving forward.

Matt Paradis Signs With Denver

The Denver Broncos signed center Matt Paradis to a second-round RFA contract. He will be returning to the team. He is an important part of the offensive line which has effects throughout the rest of the team, both for real-life and fantasy. The offense struggled in 2017 but if the offensive line can play well and the quarterback position improves its play, owners and fans should see an improvement in many of the values of the Broncos more well-known names.
