The Buffalo Bills signed free-agent running back T.J. Yeldon to an undisclosed two-year deal on Monday. The 25-year-old spent his first four seasons with the Jaguars after being taken in the second round in 2015. He's mostly been a backup in Jacksonville the last three years and will become depth in Buffalo behind LeSean McCoy and veteran Frank Gore. Yeldon has two 50-catch seasons in the last three years, but it's unlikely that he'll start the year with much fantasy value as No. 3 on the depth chart in Buffalo.
Free-agent running back T.J. Yeldon visited with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday. Yeldon's best year came in his rookie season with Jacksonville back in 2015 when he ran 182 times for 740 yards and two touchdowns. He's scored just six times in his four-year career and would just be running back depth in Buffalo behind LeSean McCoy and the ageless Frank Gore.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon is a healthy scratch in Week 16 against the Dolphins. Rookie wide receiver D.J. Chark (quadriceps) and kicker Josh Lambo (groin) also remain out. Last week Carlos Hyde was a healthy scratch, but this week it's Yeldon. Hyde and rookie David Williams will back up Leonard Fournette, but neither of them have standalone fantasy value in this dysfunctional offense that is playing out the string.
