Jake Elliott News
The Philadelphia Eagles are re-signing kicker Jake Elliott to a four-year, $24 million contract extension, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Elliott earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2023 after making 30 of his 32 field-goal attempts and 45 of his 46 extra points. His longest field goal of the year was from 61 yards. The 29-year-old finished tied for fifth among kickers in fantasy points per game (9.2) last year, and he should remain a top-12 fantasy kicker for years to come behind a strong Eagles offense. He is now tied with Justin Tucker as the highest-paid kicker based on average salary ($6 million).
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will face off against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The 28-year-old came in clutch last week against the Buffalo Bills, sending a 59-yard field goal through the uprights in a torrential downpour to send the game into overtime. Elliott has not attempted multiple field goals since Week 5, but in a matchup that is so pivotal for both teams, there is no better spot to fire up the veteran. With a high floor due to the sheer amount of extra point attempts, the Eagles' kicker should be considered a top 12 fantasy option with the potential to finish top five on the week if he converts multiple field goals in Week 13.
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will go on the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11 on Monday night. The 28-year-old is two field goal conversions away from tying his total from a season ago. However, Elliott has been on a bit of a cold streak over the past four weeks, hitting just two of three attempts and not attempting a field goal for the first time this season in the Eagles' last game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9. With that said, this week's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs could amount to more field goal attempts due to how good the team has been at keeping opponents out of the end zone. It makes the Eagles kicker a risky option but gives him a high ceiling for those looking to inject a bit of upside into their lineups.
