DaeSean Hamilton News
Houston Texans wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton (knee) will undergo knee surgery, but is expected to return at some point this season. He suffered a non-contact injury during OTA workouts. Luckily, the injury isn't believed to be a torn ACL, which is good news. The 27-year-old was released by the Denver Broncos in March after missing all of the 2021 season. Hamilton has recorded 81 receptions with 833 receiving yards over the course of his first three seasons in the NFL. He's not expected to have a huge role in the Houston offense, assuming he returns in time for the beginning of the season.
Houston Texans wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton (knee) is having his right knee examined at practice on Tuesday at voluntary organized team activities. It's unknown how serious Hamilton's knee injury is at this time, but it's worth noting that he missed all of last year with the Denver Broncos due to a torn ACL that he suffered last May. Hamilton came to Houston on a one-year deal this offseason, and he's expected to provide receiving depth after catching 81 of 141 targets for 833 yards and five touchdowns in his three seasons with the Broncos from 2018-20.
The Houston Texans are working out former Denver Broncos wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton on Friday. Hamilton was released by the Broncos earlier this week. The 27-year-old tore his ACL last May and missed all of the 2021 season. In three prior seasons with the Broncos, Hamilton combined for 81 catches on 141 targets for 833 yards and five touchdowns in 46 games (nine starts). The former fourth-round pick in 2018 will most likely represent receiving depth for whichever team he joins next, so fantasy managers can safely avoid him in drafts.
