Jets Will Listen To Le'Veon Bell Offers This Offseason

New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas said that the team will listen to trade offers for running back Le'Veon Bell this offseason if other teams come calling. Head coach Adam Gase has made it crystal clear that he wasn't on board with the team signing Bell before the 2019 season, so a trade could very well be possible. After sitting out all of the 2018 season, the 27-year-old was a huge disappointment for fantasy owners that took him in the first or second rounds. Bell had 245 carries for 789 yards (career-low 3.2 yards per carry) and just three touchdowns. He added 66 receptions for 461 yards and one TD through the air. Bell's best bet for a rebound season in 2020 will be somewhere other than New York.

Robby Anderson Won't Give Jets Hometown Discount

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson, who will hit the open market this offseason, won't be giving the Jets a hometown discount. You got to talk to my agent, Anderson said after Gang Green's 13-6 win over the Bills backups on Sunday. I dont think that makes sense. The Jets shopped Anderson at the trade deadline, and his improvement in the second half of the season should earn him more money as a free agent. He finished with 52 catches for 779 yards and five touchdowns, going for 27 receptions, 420 yards and three touchdowns in the final six games of the season. Despite the fact that he doesn't have a 1,000-yard season, Anderson could be in line for a multi-year deal worth $12-15 million per year in a weak receiver market. His landing spot in 2020 will determine most of his fantasy value.

Ryan Griffin Underwent Ankle Surgery

New York Jets tight end Ryan Griffin (ankle) said he had surgery a week ago to repair ligament damage in his ankle. He's looking at a six-month rehab, so Griffin could miss organized team activities. Griffin had 34 receptions (41 targets) for 320 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in 13 games in his first season with Gang Green. Most of his production came as a result of Chris Herndon IV being injured, however, so there's no guarantee that Griffin will be as involved in the offense in 2020. Missed time next spring and into the summer after his surgery could also be an issue.

Quincy Enunwa Diagnosed With Spinal Stenosis

New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa (spine) has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, but he remains hopeful of playing in 2020. If he does continue playing next season, it's unlikely to be with the Jets. Enunwa missed all of the 2017 season with injuries and has played in just 12 games in the last two years. The 27-year-old did have 58 catches for 857 yards and four touchdowns for Gang Green in 2016, but that was right before the injuries started to pile up. There's no guarantee that Enunwa would be fantasy relevant next year if he's playing.

Robby Anderson Active, Demaryius Thomas Out Again

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson (calf) is active for Week 17 against the Bills, while wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) will be sidelined again. Anderson will suit up for what very well could be his last contest with Gang Green. The 26-year-old has mostly been a disappointment as a deep threat for the Jets this year. He posted just three catches for 23 yards against Buffalo in the season opener, but the Bills are resting most of their starters with the playoffs looming, including cornerback Tre'Davious White. It will give Anderson more upside, but he has been mostly a boom/bust WR3/4 for fantasy owners in 2019. In Thomas' absence, Vyncint Smith should continue working as the No. 3 wideout, but he doesn't have any fantasy intrigue.
