Jonathan Quick News
New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick rewrote history books on Saturday, becoming the winningest U.S.-born goalie with his 392nd career victory in an 8-5 triumph over Arizona. The 38-year-old stopped 27 saves to move past Ryan Miller on the all-time list. Quick has recorded 17 of his victories as New York's backup this season, posting a strong 17-5-2 record in 24 starts. He boasts two shutouts and has allowed 2.54 goals with a .913 save percentage. The three-time Stanley Cup champion will be chasing his ninth victory in 10 games the next time he heads out.
New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick stopped 31-of-35 shots on goal in Thursday's 7-4 victory against the Canadiens. Quick did not have his sharpest performance as he surrendered at least one goal in each period and allowed four goals for the first time since late December against the Panthers, but the veteran goaltender received plenty of support on the offensive end as he extended his personal winning streak to four consecutive games. Quick should be rostered across standard formats as he carries season totals of a 13-4-2 record to go along with a 2.36 goals against average, a .917 save percentage and two shutouts through 20 appearances.
New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick stopped 18-of-19 shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-1 victory against the Lightning. Quick received his second consecutive start coming out of the All-Star break, and the veteran goaltender posted another quality performance while allowing only one goal in the contest against a contending team. Quick's recent success brings his season totals to a record of 12-4-2 to go along with a 2.27 goals against average, a .919 save percentage and two shutouts through 19 appearances.
New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick is once again the team's starting netminder for their Wednesday night contest versus the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning. Quick somewhat surprisingly started the team's first game out of the All-Star break on Monday, defeating the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 in overtime while stopping 32 of the 33 shots he faced. He will once again get the starting nod over No. 1 Igor Shesterkin on Wednesday as he has indeed been the superior goaltender this season. Quick enters Wednesday's action sporting a 2.35 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage, going 11-4-2 on the season in 18 appearances. He will have his hands full against a Lightning team that has won three straight games.
