Jordan Eberle News
The Seattle Kraken have locked up winger Jordan Eberle to a two-year contract extension that carries a $4.75 million average annual value. Eberle was either going to be signed to an extension or traded prior to Friday's 3 pm ET trade deadline as the Kraken are sellers given that they sit six points back of the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference with the Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues also six points back. The veteran has recorded 14 goals and 37 points across 58 games on the season, his third with the Kraken after the team picked him from the New York Islanders in the expansion draft. He is just two games shy of playing in 1,000 career games.
Seattle Kraken right wing Jordan Eberle recorded his second three-point game of the season in Sunday's 4-2 win versus Columbus, setting a new franchise record in the process. He became the first player in franchise history to score multiple power-play goals in a single game. By adding an assist in the opening frame, Eberle also tied a Kraken record with a three-point period. The 33-year-old has turned back the clock lately, posting five goals and five assists in his last eight appearances. Eberle has had nine goals and 28 points in 45 games across the entire campaign.
Seattle Kraken right wing Jordan Eberle ended a 13-game goal drought on Wednesday versus Los Angeles by providing the game-winning goal in a 2-1 road triumph. He potted only his fourth goal of the season 6:27 into the third period after Brandon Tanev had opened the scoring in the second. The goals have been hard to come by for Eberle in 2023-24, and his overall scoring form hasn't been great either. The veteran winger boasts only 16 points in 30 games. In his next outing, Eberle will look to post a three-game scoring streak for only the second time this season.
Seattle Kraken right wing Jordan Eberle will miss Saturday's game against L.A. with a lower-body injury. The 33-year-old has been on the score sheet just once in seven games this month, and the injury is a fresh blow for him. He will be replaced on the top line by Tomas Tatar, who has just arrived via a trade from Colorado. The veteran winger couldn't make a big impact with the Avalanche, but he's averaged close to 0.60 points per game for his career and could be an intriguing option for fantasy managers on Saturday.
