Erik Haula News
New Jersey Devils forward Erik Haula (upper body) is on track to return to the lineup Wednesday versus Boston. He was kept out of action on Saturday against Edmonton by an upper-body injury, but it apparently wasn't a very serious issue, and Haula will make a quick return. Overall, health issues have robbed Haula of five games this season. He's done well for the team, scoring seven goals and recording six assists in 21 games while averaging 15:53 of ice time. Haula is expected to play with Dawson Mercer and Alexander Holtz on the third line.
New Jersey Devils forward Erik Haula (undisclosed) won't play Tuesday against the New York Islanders after suffering an injury in Saturday's game. The extent of the injury isn't yet known, but the fact he has already been deemed out for tomorrow isn't a good sign. The injury comes at an unfortunate time for Haula, who has five points in his last six games. If Curtis Lazar is able to return Tuesday, he will likely replace Haula on the third line.
New Jersey Devils left wing Erik Haula (upper body) is expected to be back in practice on Monday. He was forced to sit out his first game of the season Friday night versus the Islanders. Before getting injured, Haula had enjoyed an impressive start to the season, averaging a point per game through three outings. He boasts two goals and one assist with nine shots on goal. Looks like the gritty winger has a good chance to return to the lineup Tuesday against the Canadiens.
New Jersey Devils left wing Erik Haula is battling an unspecified injury and is regarded as day-to-day. According to Devils head coach Lindy Ruff, Haula is carrying a nagging injury. It doesn't appear to be a serious issue, but the ailment could still threaten Haula's availability for the start of the season. New Jersey gets things going Thursday versus Detroit. Haula missed only two games last season and enjoyed his second consecutive 40-point campaign, bagging 14 goals and recording 27 assists. He's played a great supporting role wherever he's been and should continue to do so in 2023-24 on an exciting Devils team.
