Artturi Lehkonen News
Colorado Avalanche winger Artturi Lehkonen (illness) is expected to return to the lineup on Saturday against Edmonton. Lehkonen has battled an illness lately, which kept him out of action for two games. He should rejoin the fearsome duo of Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen on the first line. The 28-year-old has had a great time playing with the two prolific forwards, scoring eight goals and registering five assists in his last 12 appearances. Lehkonen has produced 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists) in 30 games across the entire campaign, missing a big part of the season with an upper-body injury.
Colorado Avalanche winger Artturi Lehkonen (illness) will miss Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames. Lehkonen has been under the weather since Sunday and isn't feeling well enough to suit up tonight. Valeri Nichushkin will likely be the beneficiary of Lehkonen's absence, as he should move up to the first line and first powerplay unit. The former becomes a fantastic DFS play tonight. As for Lehkonen, he should be expected back soon and will likely reclaim his role upon returning.
Colorado Avalanche winger Artturi Lehkonen put together a big performance on Tuesday versus Washington, registering his second four-point effort of the season in a 6-3 win. Lehkonen produced two goals and two assists in the contest. It's been a tough campaign for Lehkonen, who skated in only his 19th game of the season on Tuesday. He's had 13 points for the season, but the fact that eight have come in two contests is very telling. The 28-year-old hasn't even had points in back-to-back games more than once.
Colorado Avalanche winger Artturi Lehkonen (neck) will rejoin the action on Wednesday versus Washington. He has missed well over two months, having last played on Nov. 9. Before getting injured, Lehkonen had a fine start to the campaign with a three-goal, eight-point effort across 12 outings. He's expected to make his comeback on the third line next to Ryan Johansen and Andrew Cogliano, who both should get a boost from Lehkonen's presence. The Finnish forward has been a great fit in Denver, producing 30 goals and 68 points in 92 games for his Avalanche career.
