Foster Moreau News
New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau (ankle) logged another full practice session on Friday and no longer carries a designation heading into Sunday's game against the Patriots. The 26-year-old has played in one game this season and has only two catches for 20 yards. However, with Juwan Johnson (calf) out, Moreau may receive an enhanced role in Week 5. But with Jimmy Graham still in the equation and Derek Carr (shoulder) questionable, Moreau shouldn't be considered anything more than a desperation addition to any fantasy roster.
New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau (ankle) was able to put in a full practice on Wednesday after he missed the last two games with an ankle injury. Barring a setback later this week, it looks like he will return to action in Week 5 against the New England Patriots on the road. And with Juwan Johnson (calf) not practicing to begin the week, Moreau could return to a bigger role in the offense this Sunday if Johnson is unable to play. Even if that comes to pass, though, the 26-year-old Moreau probably won't be much more than a desperation TE2 streamer in deeper fantasy leagues in a Saints offense that has left a lot to be desired to this point. Moreau has two catches for 20 yards in his first two games with the Saints this year.
New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. The 26-year-old got in a limited session last Thursday before being listed as doubtful and ultimately ruled out for Week 3's affair with the Green Bay Packers. Moreau owns just two catches for 20 yards through two outings with both receptions coming in Week 2. If the fifth-year veteran is inactive once again in Week 4's date with the division-rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans' tight end group would remain more condensed toward Juwan Johnson and Jimmy Graham, the latter of whom hit paydirt last Sunday.
