Jaren Hall News
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall will start in Week 17 against the Packers, as the rookie gets his second NFL start after he exited his first one due to injury back in Week 9. Hall had 78 passing yards and 11 rushing yards on just 15% of the snaps in his first start, but the BYU product is hard to trust in this one despite a decent matchup at home. Hall is at best a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues, as he could have a depleted supporting cast with T.J. Hockenson (knee) out and Jordan Addison (ankle) questionable.
The Minnesota Vikings are making another change at quarterback and will start rookie Jaren Hall on Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers in Week 17. It's a bit of a curious move with veteran Nick Mullens throwing for 714 yards and four touchdowns in the last two games, although he did have a costly six interceptions as well. The Vikings' playoff hopes will be on the line in a primetime division-rivalry game, and it will give the team another chance to evaluate the rookie from BYU before the 2023 campaign is up. The 25-year-old was hurt shortly after making his first NFL start in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. The fifth-round pick has completed eight of his 10 passes for 101 yards without a touchdown or interception in two games played. The matchup is a good one, but Hall is nothing more than a desperation low-end QB2 in superflex leagues this weekend.
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) has been cleared ahead of the Week 12 matchup against the Chicago Bears. The rookie quarterback suffered a concussion during his first career start in Week 9. He has been sidelined since then, but was able to get through full practice sessions this week. However, Joshua Dobbs has established himself as the starting quarterback in Minnesota right now. It's unclear if the Vikings plan on having Hall as the backup or stick with Nick Mullens as the second string quarterback. Regardless, Hall can be ignored in fantasy formats with Dobbs as the locked in starter.
