Marlon Humphrey News
After a positive pregame workout, Baltimore Ravens All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) will play in the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a source. Humphrey will play through a calf strain, which is great news for an already strong Ravens defense. It's obviously bad news for the Chiefs offense and most notably rookie receiver Rashee Rice. Fellow cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (knee) is also expected to be active, making the Ravens defense a strong DFS play against a Chiefs offense that wasn't as good in 2023 as in years past. Humphrey, 27, will take on his usual starting role opposite Brandon Stephens after missing each of the team's last two games.
Baltimore Ravens defensive back Marlon Humphrey (calf) is expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. This is a welcoming sight considering Humphrey has missed the last two games. Luckily, it appears Humphrey will be ready to go in time for this AFC Championship game. He'll join this Ravens secondary that has been one of the best in the league. This Ravens defense unit is the most expensive in DFS contests but could be worth it for this weekend's slate.
Baltimore Ravens cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (calf) and Rock Ya-Sin (knee) are both listed as questionable to play in Sunday's AFC Championship tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs. The good news is that both players put in a full practice on Friday. Meanwhile, linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips (shoulder) is doubtful to play. Humphrey has missed eight games this year due to injury, including each of the team's last two games. However, getting the 27-year-old All-Pro defensive back for a matchup against the defending Super Bowl-champion Chiefs would be big for an already strong defense. If Humphrey is held out for a third straight game, Ronald Darby would likely make another start. The Ravens defense/special teams unit is the second-most expensive fantasy defense for the weekend, behind only the 49ers.
