Carson Soucy News
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy has been suspended for one playoff game. The 29-year-old will be forced to miss Game 4 of the second-round series against Edmonton after cross-checking Oilers captain Connor McDavid to the face during a scrum at the end of Game 3 on Sunday. Vancouver loses a big presence at the back, with Soucy boasting 27 hits through nine postseason appearances. He's also occasionally helped out on the offensive end, delivering four assists.
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy (hand) is set for a five-to-six week spell on the sidelines. The 29-year-old was injured at the weekend against Toronto. Injuries have had a massive effect on Soucy's season, as he missed 23 games earlier in the campaign with a foot problem. He's been limited to 21 outings, posting two goals and four assists with 15 shots on net, 21 hits, and 39 blocks. Noah Juulsen is expected to hop into the lineup as Soucy's replacement on Monday versus Chicago.
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy (lower body) is set to miss the next six-to-eight weeks of action. He suffered a lower-body injury at the weekend while blocking a shot, and the injury will unfortunately keep Soucy sidelined for an extended period. Soucy has done a great job defensively for the in-form Canucks, and he's also helped out on the offensive end with two goals and three assists in 13 outings.
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy couldn't complete Sunday's 5-2 win over Montreal due to an undisclosed injury. He played 8:26 in the contest and registered three blocks with one hit before being forced to exit. Soucy has already missed a couple of games with injury this season and needs to recover by Wednesday to avoid missing further action. Soucy's quality mostly comes out in the defensive zone, but he's also enjoyed a decent start to the season offensively by registering two goals and three assists in 13 outings. Two of his points have come on the power play.
