Cam Taylor-Britt News
The Cincinnati Bengals opened the 21-day practice window for cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve. The second-year pro was placed on IR on December 4 after suffering an ankle injury in practice. The Bengals have allowed the fifth-most passing yards per game (256.1) this year, so his return to the lineup could provide a boost for the struggling secondary. Taylor-Britt tallied 46 tackles, one forced fumble, and four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) in 10 games before being sidelined. The Bengals now have 21 days to activate him to the roster, though they are on the outside looking in for an AFC Wild Card spot.
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (ankle) is being placed on Injured Reserve after suffering an ankle injury in practice leading up to the Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This means he will miss at least the next four games. With the Bengals potentially being out of playoff contention by Week 17, there's a chance his season is over. The 2022 second-round pick was having a solid season, racking up 46 tackles, one forced fumble, and four interceptions in 10 games. In his absence, Mike Hilton and DJ Turner will likely see more snaps.
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (quadriceps) was ruled out of the Thursday night contest against the Baltimore Ravens after suffering a quadriceps injury. Before leaving the game, the 24-year-old made one tackle. His injury is a big one for a team that also lost star quarterback Joe Burrow to a right-wrist injury right before halftime. Taylor-Britt came into the Week 11 game with 45 tackles (36 solo), a team-high four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), nine passes defensed and one forced fumble in nine games. With Taylor-Britt out the rest of the game, Mike Hilton will play more defensive snaps. The good news is Taylor-Britt will have extra time to recover before a Week 12 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
