Jacob Rhame Is PTBNL In Granderson Deal
The Dodgers completed their end of the Curtis Granderson deal by sending reliever Jacob Rhame over to the Mets. Rhame and his 98 mph fastball have been lights out in Triple-A this year, striking out 55 batters in 48 innings, while only walking ten. A.J. Mass over at ESPN believes that because Rhame was named so quickly in the Granderson deal, we'll likely see him when rosters expand in September. The Mets pitching is highly volatile right now, with Steven Matz out for the year and only A.J. Ramos as the announced closer. Rhame could slide into the set-up role if he comes roaring out of the gate.
