Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Josh Collmenter delivered the second worst outing of his career as the Braves and Pirates ran deep into the night for a second consecutive game. Collmenter entered in the 10th to relieve Jose Ramirez. Pittsburgh took advantage with back-to-back-to-back long balls and seven total runs during the one inning of work. Collmenter's only worse career performance came in 2015 when he allowed nine earned runs before being pulled. This is yet another poor effort from the veteran who has struggled in May. He continues to slide deeper into the bullpen with a 16.88 ERA over his past six outings.
