Matt Koch To Start Tuesday

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Koch will get the start on Tuesday against the Dodgers. Koch has a 4.83 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and weak 4.6 K/9 as a starter in 13 starts for the Snakes this year. He's coming off a good outing against the Cubs, but he's an extremely risky streamer in this matchup with the dangerous Dodgers lineup.

Matt Koch Recalled From Triple-A Reno

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Thursday afternoon. On the heels of Shelby Miller's injury, Koch will return to the major league rotation, where he posted a 5-4 record with a 4.40 ERA. Koch could be used out of the bullpen until the All-Star break, as Miller's rotation spot is not scheduled until the second half. Koch will not be an everyday option in fantasy but can be a low-end streamer in good matchups.

Matt Koch Demoted To Triple-A

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch was demoted to Triple-A Reno on Wednesday night. Koch will return to the Aces after two months of filling the rotation spot left by the injured Robbie Ray. Koch was inconsistent in his time with Arizona, finishing with a 4.40 ERA and 38 strikeouts across 71 2/3 innings. His demotion means that Shelby Miller will likely make his return from the DL on Monday.

Matt Koch Loses In Rough Outing

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch (5-4) took the loss on Tuesday night, giving up five runs on seven hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings against the Angels. Koch was pitching well until the fifth inning, where he hit two batters and allowed a three-run single off the bat of Mike Trout. Koch has now allowed multiple home runs in three consecutive starts and has surrendered five runs in three of his last five outings. He also failed to strike out a batter for the third time this season. After a good run of starts in April and May, Koch is starting to fall apart, as his ERA is up to 4.40. When Robbie Ray and Shelby Miller return, Koch will likely lose his spot in the rotation.

Matt Koch Bounces Back With Win Against Mets

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch (5-3) picked up the win on Thursday, giving up two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out five across six strong innings. Koch was able to bounce back against a weak Mets lineup after struggling at Coors Field in his previous start. Koch is a solid pitcher to stream in good matchups, but he may lose his spot in the rotation with the impending returns ofRobbie Ray and Shelby Miller.

Matt Koch Wins Despite Rough Outing

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch (3-3) picked up the win on Monday, giving up five earned runs on 11 hits and one walk across five innings. Thanks to a rare offensive outburst from the Arizona offense, Koch was able to pick up his third win of the season despite not having his best stuff. For the second time in three starts, Koch failed to record a single strikeout. Koch has started to give up more hard contact of late, making him a risk every time he takes the hill.

Matt Koch Bounces Back In Rematch Against Brewers

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch took the loss on Tuesday, despite giving up just one earned run on three hits and three walks across 5 1/3 innings against Milwaukee. Koch was much improved in his second straight start against the Brewers, showing he was able to stay away from the middle of the plate. Koch has been a solid, but unspectacular option for Arizona since Robbie Ray went down. However, he gives up nearly 50 percent hard contact, so more starts like his last one (where he gave up four HR) could be on the horizon. Koch is not a trustworthy option in fantasy leagues outside of the occasional stream against weak opposition.

Matt Koch Continues To Pitch With Excellence

Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Matt Koch went eight innings, giving up seven hits, three runs, and a walk while striking out three in the 3-1 loss to the Washington Nationals. Despite Koch being handed the loss after an eight-inning performance, he now rocks a 2.43 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP with 20 strikeouts in 33 1/3 innings pitched. He also holds a 2-1 record on the season with four quality starts in five starts this year. He's looking to be a fantastic replacement for Taijuan Walker, and while his strikeout totals aren't the highest, he is providing solid value for those who picked him up. He will start on May 16 against the Milwaukee Brewers and will be a top streaming candidate for that start as the Brewers hold the 22nd ranked offense in the league.

Matt Koch Picks Up Second Win

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch (2-0) picked up the win on Sunday, giving up just one run on six hits over six solid innings. Through four starts, Koch has yet to allow more than two runs, while posting three quality starts. His strikeout numbers leave a lot to be desired (6.04 K/9), but his ability to limit damage makes him an intriguing option. His .214 BABIP and 4.32 xFIP indicates he's due for some regression, but owners should take a flier on Koch while he's hot.

Matt Koch Solid In First Win

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Matt Koch picked up his first win of the season on Thursday, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks over six strong innings. Koch struck out four batters while firing his second consecutive quality start. With two starts (and one relief appearance) under his belt, Koch's ERA sits at 1.93. While Koch is playing well, he is worth adding to see how many wins he can pick up behind the Diamondbacks' hot offense.
