We have a huge 10 games on the slate tonight for your DFS lineups. Let’s look at some of the best options for your lineup.
For the DFS projections and pricing, we will be using FanDuel and DraftKings.
NBA Quick Links
Point Guard
Tyrese Maxey (FD: $8,700, DK: $8,800): The betting favorite to win the Most Improved Player award this season is Tyrese Maxey, and for good reason. He has been excellent all year long, especially with the loss of Joel Embiid for most of the season. He is a scoring machine when called upon and that shouldn’t change tonight against a Clippers team that is freefalling. Outside of a dud game against the Phoenix Suns, Maxey has been amazing. He has been one of the more consistent point guards in the game regarding DFS lineups.
Vasilije Micic (FD & DK: $5,400): Vasilije Micic is a name that most people might not know. However, he is becoming an interesting piece for the Charlotte Hornets. He is facing a Cleveland Cavaliers team that he just struggled against. However, Micic has been more consistent than not. In his last 10 games, he has scored 20+ fantasy points in 7 of them. For the price of Micic, I would take the risk with his price and overall play this season with the Hornets.
Shooting Guard
Jalen Green (FD: $8,800, DK: $8,900): Over the past month, Jalen Green has been one of the best players in the league. That coincides with this winning streak the Houston Rockets are in the midst of while fighting for the final play-in spot. Green has stepped up during this run with the loss of Alperen Sengun due to an ankle injury. Green is scoring at will, as he is averaging 27.6 points in his last 10 games. Green might be priced higher than usual, but I would recommend getting on the train now before it runs out.
Gary Trent Jr. (FD: $6,700, DK: $6,300): The Toronto Raptors are struggling and just waiting for this season to end. However, Gary Trent Jr. is still playing at a high level. In 7 of his last 10 games, Trent has scored 30+ fantasy points. His matchup tonight is a tough one, as his Raptors take on the defensive-minded New York Knicks. This team does not have a lot of options, which gives Trent the necessary volume for someone of his caliber.
Small Forward
Deni Avdija (FD: $7,400, DK: $7,200): The Washington Wizards are on a winning streak!!!! They are actually playing good basketball as of late. Deni Avdija is becoming a key member of the Wizards’ future. The one thing he brings to the table in DFS lineups is his rebounding. That has contributed to a few 40+ fantasy games this month. Tonight he plays the Brooklyn Nets, who he has success against. In three previous games, Avdija is averaging 16.7 points per game with 9.7 rebounds.
GG Jackson (FD: $6,400, DK: $6,200): The Memphis Grizzlies suffered so many injuries this year. That caused them to try a plethora of players and one of the players they tried out was GG Jackson, who has turned into a key cog for the future. Jackson has had his inconsistencies, which is expected for a 19-year-old. However, he has had his moments where he can put it all together and explode for big nights. His points per game have increased every month. In March, the rookie is averaging 18 points a game. The talent is sky-high and is showcased when he gets the minutes he has earned.
Power Forward
Josh Hart (FD: $7,800, DK: $7,600): The Toronto Raptors are one of the worst teams in the league in terms of rebounds allowed per game. They are the fourth worst all season but are the worst in March. Josh Hart of the New York Knicks might be undersized, but he is going to grab some rebounds. Also, you can guarantee Hart is playing at least 40 minutes a night on a somewhat depleted Knicks roster. The price might be steep for someone like Josh Hart, but the matchup is pointing towards a 40+ fantasy point night.
Georges Niang (FD:$4,400, DK: $4,700): This might be a little bit of a stretch, but I can see Georges Niang having a good game tonight. The Charlotte Hornets are bottom five in both three-pointers allowed and opponent three-point percentage. At such a low price, I think it is worth the risk to pick Niang for your DFS lineup.
Center
Naz Reid (FD: $7.100, DK: $6,800): Ever since the Minnesota Timberwolves lost Karl-Anthony Towns to a knee injury, Naz Reid has stepped up. He is becoming the second scorer on the team behind Anthony Edwards, as this team is still in the hunt for the one seed in the Western Conference. Since March 7th, Reid has not had a game where he has had less than 20 fantasy points. There have also been a few games where he goes off for 40+ fantasy points. With the injury to Towns still in effect, expect more big Naz Reid games.
Clint Capela (FD: $6,700, DK: $6,500): One thing Clint Capela is going to do is grab rebounds and get a double-double. In 8 of his last 10 games, Capela has obtained that double-double. Furthermore, he has not gotten less than 23 fantasy points. Capela is still a consistent DFS player with his rebounding never dipping. Expect another classic Capela game against a putrid Trail Blazers team.
