Rob Dillingham Fantasy Stats

The Charlotte Hornets are waiving guard Rob Dillingham just one day after acquiring him from Chicago for Buddy Hield and cash, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The former No. 8 pick will become a free agent if he clears waivers, though he cannot return to the Bulls. Dillingham saw his role expand after landing in Chicago last February, averaging 9.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 0.9 steals in 21.5 minutes across 30 games while shooting 30.0 percent from three. Charlotte already has plenty of guards in the mix, so his departure doesn't change much for fantasy. Dillingham's outlook will come down to where he lands next and whether that team can give him steady minutes with the ball in his hands.

The Charlotte Hornets are acquiring guard Rob Dillingham from the Chicago Bulls for Buddy Hield and cash, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The former No. 8 overall pick averaged 9.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 21.5 minutes across 30 games with Chicago last season, though he shot just 30.0 percent from three. LaMelo Ball's departure opens more opportunity in Charlotte, but Dillingham still joins a backcourt featuring Coby White, Dennis Schroder, and rookie Christian Anderson. Kon Knueppel's (hamstring) absence should give Dillingham a little more room to show what he can do early, but he'll need to shoot the ball better before fantasy managers can count on him.

Chicago Bulls point guard Rob Dillingham recently underwent successful minor surgery to have a ganglion cyst removed from his right wrist, the team announced on Wednesday. Dillingham battled this issue late in the year, but he will have the entire offseason to get to 100 percent for the 2026-27 campaign. The 21-year-old had a strong finish to the season, averaging 13.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in April. However, this happened with Josh Giddey out of the lineup. Tre Jones is another option at point guard for the team. Giddey and Jones both have a contract with the Bulls for next season, making Dillingham's situation murky.

Chicago Bulls guard Rob Dillingham (knee) is available to play ahead of Friday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Dillingham will shed the probable tag and suit up for Friday's contest. The expectation is that Dillingham will play his regular role off the bench. He finished with 12 points and two rebounds across 23 minutes of action on Wednesday. Over the last seven games, Dillingham is averaging 13.1 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 rebounds across 23.9 minutes per game. He offers some low-end streaming value, but his upside is limited with the Bulls relatively healthy at the guard spot right now.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are trading guard Rob Dillingham to the Chicago Bulls, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Dillingham was drafted with the eighth overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft but has struggled to find his footing in Minnesota, averaging just 10 minutes per game in his first two seasons. The former Top-10 pick will hope for a jump-start to his career in Chicago, which traded guard Ayo Dosunmu in this deal. With guards Jaden Ivey and Collin Sexton joining the Bulls in prior deadline deals, Dillingham is unlikely to be a key producer for the Bulls; however, he should see an increased workload compared with what he had in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Timberwolves exercised the team option on guard Rob Dillingham, the team announced in a press release on Saturday. The 20-year-old didn't do much in his first season in the league in 2024, averaging only 4.5 points and 1.0 rebounds. Still, with Mike Conley not getting any younger and Nickeil Alexander-Walker no longer on the roster, there could be a path to playing time for Dillingham at some point during the 2025 campaign. As of now, he's not worth rostering in redraft formats. However, that could change in the months ahead, so Dillingham may see attention from fantasy managers if he carves out a routine role in the rotation.

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Rob Dillingham finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists as the team snuck past the Phoenix Suns 89-85 during Wednesday's Summer League action. The 20-year-old was tied for the highest scoring mark in the game, shooting 9-for-20 from the field with a 1-for-6 record from three-point range. Dillingham saw very little action in Minnesota during his rookie campaign, but Mike Conley is on his last legs, and 2025-26 could bring more opportunities for the former Kentucky Wildcat. During the Las Vegas Summer League, Dillingham has improved his numbers in almost all categories compared to last year, averaging 17.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.8 steals.

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Rob Dillingham (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors. The rookie guard is struggling to recover from an ankle injury, missing the entire postseason. Even if he were healthy, Dillingham would likely not be part of Minnesota's regular rotation. Mike Conley and Donte DiVincenzo share minutes at the point guard position, with the latter being a better option for DFS managers, despite coming off the bench.

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Rob Dillingham (ankle) will remain inactive on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The rookie guard continues to nurse a right ankle sprain, which has delayed his postseason debut. Even when he returns to health, Minnesota is unlikely to include Dillingham in the regular rotation. Naz Reid, Donte DiVincenzo, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker operate as the key reserves for the Timberwolves, who have a chance to finish off the Lakers with a road victory on Wednesday night.

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Rob Dillingham (ankle) will remain sidelined for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Due to a right ankle sprain, Dillingham was a late addition to the injury report leading up to Game 1, and the injury will delay his postseason debut further. That said, the rookie guard has had only a limited role with the Timberwolves this season and may not even see the court in the playoffs, even if he is available. Dillingham averaged 4.5 points and 2.0 assists in 10.5 minutes during the regular season.
