After sustaining a heel injury earlier in this Western Conference final against the San Antonio Spurs, Golden State center Zaza Pachulia will miss his second consecutive game tonight. The 33-year-old, who is averaging six points and four rebounds per game in the postseason, has been the team's starting center throughout the season. With his absence, look for Javale McGee to once again serve as the starting center as the Warriors seek to close out the series and head back to their third consecutive NBA Finals.
Zaza Pachulia Out For Game Three Against San Antonio
Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia will miss tonight's game against the San Antonio Spurs due to a heel injury suffered in Game 2 during the first half. Pachulia missed the second half and was replaced by Shaun Livingston when the Warriors decided to go smaller. It is not confirmed yet on who will get the start, but it is a possibility that the Warriors will play more small ball in tonight's game. Although Pachulia has only played limited minutes throughout the playoffs, he has been huge in rebounding and protecting the paint. The Spurs may look to go inside more and build ground on their rebounding for Game 3.
