De'Anthony Thomas Fractures Leg Thursday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver De'Anthony Thomas (leg) fractured his leg in practice on Thursday and will likely miss the rest of the season. It's a tough break for Thomas after he suffered the same injury in 2017. The 25-year-old had just three catches on five targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in five games this year, so he wasn't fantasy relevant to begin with.

De'Anthony Thomas Returning To Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed wide receiver De'Anthony Thomas on Wednesday. He turned down $1.5 million from another team to remain in KC. Thomas had just 14 catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games last year for the Chiefs, and he's mostly a special teams asset, so fantasy owners need not take much notice. Thomas took over the kick-returning duties from Tyreek Hill last year, returning 13 kicks for 305 yards.

De'Anthony Thomas Suffers Broken Leg

Kansas City Chiefs receiver De'Anthony Thomas (leg) will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken tibia in the Week 17 victory over the Denver Broncos. Thomas was an electric player on special teams for the Chiefs this season, and his presence is going to be missed in the playoffs. He finished the 2017 campaign with 14 receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns. He was never much of an option in the receiving game but did most of his damage with the special teams unit. He is a free agent this upcoming offseason, and it's unclear whether or not he'll be back in KC next season.
