Don Muhlbach Retains Job As Detroit Lions' Long-Snapper
Don Muhlbach retained his job as the Detroit Lions' long-snapper this week when the team placed rookie Jimmy Landes on season-ending injury reserve. Landes, the Lions sixth-round pick in this years NFL Draft, suffered a shoulder injury that will require surgery. The news is fantasy relevant for one player in particular -- Matt Prater. Landesh andled all of the long-snapping duties in Saturday's exhibition loss to the Baltimore Ravens. But he was off target on several attempts, including a low snap on Matt Prater's missed 53-yard field goal.
