Cardinals Go With Evan Weaver At No. 202
The Arizona Cardinals selected California inside linebacker Evan Weaver with the 202nd overall pick in the sixth round. This is a really nice value pick this late in the draft for the Cardinals, as Weaver plays upright. His athleticism may be lacking at 6-foot-2, 237 pounds, but he has excellent instincts and works his way through blocks. Arizona seriously needed linebacking reinforcements, so Weaver could find his way into a starting role sooner than later. He can also drop back in coverage if needed.
