New Jersey Devils goalie Aaron Dell will make his fifth appearance of the season against the New York Rangers on Saturday. Dell has posted a 1-2-0 record, a goals-against average of 3.49, and a save percentage of .880. He was selected off waivers from Toronto back in January. The Alberta native has played in 111 NHL contests, mainly with San Jose.

He lost his season debut on Feb. 21 against Minnesota 4-3 despite producing 37 saves. Dell has been a solid backup throughout his career, putting together a 48-35-12 record with a 2.77 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage, and five shutouts. Improving the record on Tuesday will be difficult, though, as the Devils will be missing Nico Hischier (upper body) for a second straight game and Dell will face Semyon Varlamov in the opposite crease. The Russian goalie has been among the best netminders in the league this season with a 9-4-3 record, a 2.17 goals-against average, a .924 save percentage, and three shutouts.

Dell spent the past four seasons as a backup with the San Jose Sharks - posting 48 wins, a 2.76 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage in 107 appearances. The Alberta native will be a goaltender worth monitoring in deep fantasy leagues as he could bring value in favorable streaming situations in New Jersey.
