Antoine Roussel Gets The Win For Coyotes Monday Night
Arizona Coyotes left wing Antoine Roussel potted the lone goal in Monday's 1-0 win over the Jets, finding the back of the net with two minutes to go in the second frame. Ilya Lyubushkin and Loui Eriksson tallied the assists. Roussel fired off two shots in total and added two blocks and one hit to his tally with a plus-one rating in 12:28 of ice time. The French winger has now scored in back-to-back games, but his place is on the waiver wire, as he doesn't provide enough for fantasy managers.
Coyotes Snag Three Veterans, Including Antoine Roussel
The Arizona Coyotes freed themselves of a long-term contract anchor on Friday when they parted ways with veteran defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson along with young forward Conor Garland in exchange for three veteran players, as well as first-round, second-round and seventh-round draft picks. The veterans heading to Arizona are Antoine Roussel, Jay Beagle and Loui Eriksson. All three players will be unrestricted free agents at the end of the 2021-22 season and carry little to no fantasy value, even in the deepest leagues. The move frees up a lot of money moving forward for Arizona. They also now have a first-round and three second-round draft picks in this year's NHL draft, as well as one first-round and five second-round picks next year.
