Mitch Trubisky Finishes as a Fantasy QB1
Trubisky has averaged 20.6 fantasy points per game over the last two games. He’s surrounded by offensive weapons at every position. Trubisky faces a Texans offense in Week 14 that has allowed an average of 19 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. He’s a solid streaming option with an opportunity to finish as a QB1 this week.
Baker Mayfield Stays Hot against the Ravens
Mayfield has averaged 28 fantasy points per game over the last weeks. He’s averaged 31 pass attempts over that time frame. It’s worth noting that Mayfield has the ninth highest completion percentage among quarterbacks on pass attempts that travel 20 or more yards. Mayfield faces a Ravens defense that recently allowed Andy Dalton to score 20 fantasy points.
Adrian Peterson Finishes as a Fantasy RB1
Peterson has finished as an RB1 in back to back games without D’Andre Swift in the lineup. The future Hall of Fame running back has averaged 16 opportunities per game. It would be surprising to see the Lions give Swift a sizeable workload in his first game back. The Packers’ defense has allowed the third-most PPR fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Peterson only has 27 evaded tackles this season, but is averaging a respectable 0.69 fantasy points per opportunity this season.
J.D. McKissic Finishes as a Fantasy RB1
Antonio Gibson did not practice on Thursday and is dealing with a toe injury. He’s unlikely to play this week. McKissic is expected to handle all of the pass-catching opportunities while Peyton Barber handles the rushing attempts. Top running back scorers against the 49ers over the last five games have averaged 17.6 opportunities, 80.6 total yards, and 19 PPR fantasy points per game. McKissic has averaged 0.93 fantasy points per opportunity this season.
Nyheim Hines Leads All Colts Running Backs in Fantasy Points
Jonathan Taylor played very well against the Texans last week. The rookie finished with more touches and total yards than Hines. Frank Reich was adamant that all of their running backs will be involved on a week to week basis. This week’s matchup against the Raiders provides an opportunity for Hines to shine as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. Las Vegas’ defense allows the fourth-most PPR fantasy points per game to running backs. Hines is averaging 1.19 fantasy points per opportunity this season.
Chase Claypool Finishes as a Fantasy WR1
Claypool is out of the circle of trust for many fantasy managers. He appears to be in a timeshare with James Washington in recent games. Claypool has averaged 6.5 targets, 53 receiving yards, and 14.4 PPR fantasy points this season. He’s in a great spot to go boom against the Bills this week as the Steelers No. 3 receiver. Buffalo has allowed an average of 38 PPR fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the last five weeks. Claypool has a high floor and a week winning ceiling like when he scored 42 PPR fantasy points against the Eagles in Week 5.
T.Y. Hilton Finishes as a Fantasy WR1
Hilton’s averaged 8 targets, 6 receptions, and nearly 22 PPR fantasy points over the last two games. He has 2 targets of 20 or more yards over the last 2 games and has caught both of them for 71 yards. Hilton has a great matchup against the Raiders this week. Top WR scorers against Las Vegas’ defense over the last five games have thrived. They’ve averaged 21 PPR fantasy points per game over that time frame.
Marquise Browns Finishes as a Top-12 Fantasy Wide Receiver
Brown has averaged eight targets, 4.5 receptions, 62 receiving yards 16.7 PPR fantasy points per game over the last two weeks. The Ravens face a Browns defense that was recently torched by Corey Davis to the tune of 11 receptions, 182 receiving yards, and a receiving touchdown.
Jacob Hollister Finishes as a Top-12 Fantasy Tight End
Hollister has accumulated nine targets over the last two games. The Seahawks haven’t leaned on their tight ends much this season, but that could change at home against the Jets this week. New York has allowed the most PPR fantasy points per game to tight ends this season.
Jordan Reeds Finishes as the Fantasy TE1
Reed has emerged as the 49ers primary receiving tight with George Kittle out recovering from a foot injury. He has accumulated 10 targets over the last two weeks. Reed has an opportunity to shine against his old team this week. Washington travels to San Francisco.
