FantasyData DFS Picks
Yu Darvish Pitcher
SD vs. PIT ($8,100) | Projection: 21.5
Darvish is FantasyData’s top pitcher of the day with a projection of 21.5 DraftKings fantasy points. The Pirates are 1-9 in their last ten games and have been struggling on offense. This is a great matchup for Darvish as he should have a low roster percentage in tonight’s slate. The Pirates rank near the bottom of the league for batting average for the season, but over the last three games, they rank last with a dreadful 0.175.
Ryan Walker Value Pick
SF vs. TOR ($4,000)
It’s never a great idea to build a lineup with a cheap starting pitcher, so we’re advising Ryan Walker with caution. Walker is 1-0 with a 2.19 ERA in his last 10 starts. He’s only $4,000 DraftKings bucks and considering the Bluejays are a very inconsistent ball club you could save big by adding Walker to your starting DraftKings Lineup.
Ride the Hot Streak
Yandy Díaz 1B
TB vs. ARZ ($5,300)
Diaz went 4-for-4 with a run on Sunday against the Royals. His matchup versus Zac Gallen may scare off a few people, but Diaz has been crushing it against right-handed pitchers as of late. He’s now .316/.404/.518 with 12 HRs. His batting average is currently 6th best in the league. Don’t overthink the matchup on this one
Luis Arraez 2B
MIA vs. BOS ($5,100)
Arraez has been very consistent as of late and comes in as a bit of a value play versus Boston. He has a .944 OPS and could be heavily rostered in tonight’s slate. Not all chalk is bad
Value Picks
Matt Vierling OF
DET vs. TEX ($2,500)
The Tigers have been playing spoiler a lot lately, and winning big while doing it. They had a 7-2 victory over the Rangers yesterday and had some big wins this month against the Twins and Royals. Vierling went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs in his last game and had at least a hit in his last four games. At just $2,500 DraftKings bucks, he’s not a bad value play
J.P. Crawford SS
SEA vs. WSH ($3,100)
Crawford is hitting .308 and went 2-for-3 with an HR and 2 RBIs over the last week. He’s a value start at just $3,100 and facing off against a below-average pitcher.
Billy McKinney OF
NYY vs. OAK ($2,300)
Great matchup and great price, but low in the starting lineup. McKinney has .950 OPS and gets to face off against his former team. He’s not a bad start for the price.
