Brett Graves Throws Three Shutout Innings in Win Friday
Continuing to rehab from a left oblique strain, Miami Marlins pitcher Brett Graves threw three shutout innings to earn the win on Friday with Double-A Jacksonville. Graves allowed only three hits and one walk while striking out three in his fourth appearance of the season. Making three starts with Jacksonville in addition to his relief appearance on Friday, Graves sports an 8.18 ERA and an 8.36 K/9 over 14 innings. Once activated, it's not inconceivable to see the Marlins give him a spot as a starter given the shaky performances throughout the rotation, although it remains to be seen if he would have much (if any) fantasy relevancy.
