Donovan Casey Called Up From Triple-A
The Washington Nationals have called up outfielder Donovan Casey from Triple-A. No corresponding move has been announced yet, but there's speculation that Dee Strange-Gordon (illness) could be headed to the injured list. Casey is currently ranked as the team's No. 19 overall prospect by MLB Pipeline. The 26-year-old has yet to play in the majors. Last year, over 123 games split between Double-A and Triple-A, he slashed .269/.329/.430 with 16 home runs, 22 stolen bases, 55 RBI and 72 runs.
