Chicago White Sox infielder Jose Rondon will get the start at third base and bat second versus lefty Ryan Carpenter on Saturday. Yolmer Sanchez will get the day off against a left-handed pitcher. Rondon is at the top of the batting order, but does not have much upside in terms of fantasy value. He's not worth a look in most DFS contests.
Jose Rondon Hits A Home Run In Second Straight Game
Chicago White Sox designated hitter Jose Rondon hit his second home run in two games. Rondon finished the game 1-for-3 with his three-run blast providing the only runs for the White Sox. Rondon was replacing Matt Davidson (back) who is out with back stiffness and could be avoided in most leagues.
San Diego Padres infielder Jose Rondon was traded to the Chicago White Sox for cash considerations. Rondon was designated for assignment by San Diego last weekend to clear a roster spot for right-handed reliever Craig Stammen. The 23-year-old infielder hit .293/.347/.442 with seven home runs and 49 RBI in 78 games between four different levels of the Padres minor league system in 2017.
