Matt Den Dekker Called Up By Mets
The New York Mets have released pitching prospect Marcos Molina. Matt Den Dekker was called up and is starting Wednesday, but he was not on the 40-man roster. The Mets released Molina to make room on the 40-man for Dekker. Molina has made 16 starts between Double-A and Triple-A this season and owns a 6.94 ERA. He opened the season as a top-10 Mets prospect according to MLB Pipeline.
