Nick Tepesch To Start On Wednesday
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Nick Tepesch will be called up from Triple-A Buffalo to start Wednesday against the Yankees. Tepesch, acquired from the Twins last month for cash considerations, holds a 4.69 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and 137/73 K/BB ratio in 224 2/3 career innings at the major league level. The 28-year-old right-hander has a 3.00 ERA in 12 innings with Triple-A Buffalo this season, posting a 0.92 WHIP, but is not a good streaming option against the Yankees.
