Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Peter Moylan (forearm) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list on Monday. The team is calling the injury a right forearm strain. It's unclear how long Moylan will be sidelined. He was not someone worth owning in basically any leagues when healthy. It's unclear who the Braves will recall to take Moylan's spot on the active roster.
Free-agent relief pitcher Peter Moylan has signed with the Atlanta Braves, according to David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The 39-year-old Moylan is back for his third stint in Atlanta, pending a physical, and led baseball with 79 games pitched for the Royals last season. The rubber-armed Moylan has topped 75 games pitched four times in his career (including 87 in 2009) and had a 1.10 WHIP last season. This is not a very fantasy-relevant move, though, as Moylan is highly unlikely to get save opportunities for the Braves.
