Brian Duensing to DL, Randy Rosario Recalled

Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Brian Duensing (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list on Friday. He's struggled heavily this season and should not be owned in fantasy leagues. Rosario has a respectable 1.97 ERA in 32 innings this season, but only holds value in fantasy leagues that use holds as a category. He is not expected to see many save opportunities this season.

Brandon Kintzler Added to Roster, Randy Rosario Optioned

Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Brandon Kintzler has been added to the 25-man roster on Wednesday. In a corresponding move, the Cubs have optioned relief pitcher Randy Rosario to Triple-A Iowa. Kintzler was acquired by the Cubs on Tuesday and should see plenty of high leverage situations in Chicago. Brandon Morrow (biceps) is still sidelined, which means that Kintzler could see some save chances in Chicago. Kintzler could be worth adding at the moment, but might lose some value once Morrow returns from the DL.

Jason Heyward Activated From Disabled List

Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward (concussion) has been activated from the disabled list on Friday. Heyward had been sidelined since May 8 with concussion symptoms. Heyward makes his money in the field and not at the plate and should be avoided in all formats. Relief pitcher Randy Rosario was sent to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
