Asher Wojciechowski Taking Tim Adleman's Spot In Rotation

The Cincinnati Reds have made a change to their pitching rotation. Out is Tim Adleman, who has allowed a 7.57 ERA over his past seven starts. Manager Bryan Price didn't hide the fact that this move is based on Adleman's performance, stating, "Just wanted to get a different look. Tim has had some really good games this year. He's had some others that have kind of slipped away. The one thing that we really want to see is some evolution". Right-hander Asher Wojciechowski will be taking Adleman's spot in the rotation. Wojciechowski has been impressive for the Reds since being recalled in July. Working mostly long relief, the 28-year-old has posted a 0.71 ERA over his last 12 2/3 innings of work. Wojciechowski is slated to start on Friday

Tim Adleman Solid Against Diamondbacks

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tim Adleman was impressive against a dangerous Arizona Diamondbacks offense on Wednesday night. Adleman went six innings, allowing three runs and striking out seven. The right-hander took a no-decision in the game, which the Reds won 4-3 in 11 innings. Adleman now has a 5-7 record, 4.96 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 88 strikeouts on the season. He's been serviceable as a streaming option in deeper, NL-only leagues. Up next, he will take on the Cleveland Indians on the road.

Tim Adleman Serves Up Two Homers Sunday

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tim Adleman took his fifth loss of the season on Sunday as he allowed the Chicago Cubs to score three runs in five innings of work. Adleman struck out five and walked one while allowing the Cubs to hit two homers in the game. The 29-year-old right-hander has been one of the Reds' most consistent pitchers this season having allowed more than three runs just once over his past eight starts. He holds marginal streaming appeal in all leagues but is most valuable in NL-only formats. Up next, Adleman will take the mound against the Arizona Diamondbacks on the road.

Tim Adleman Strikes Out Seven On Wednesday

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tim Adleman turned in a useful outing on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Adleman pitched five innings of three-run ball while striking out seven batters, but he wound up taking the loss in the game. The right-hander has been pitching well lately, having allowed three runs or less in six straight starts. Adleman now has a 4-4 record, 4.30 ERA, and 61 strikeouts in 69 innings of work, giving him some value as a back-end starter in NL-only formats. Adleman is slated to take on the Milwaukee Brewers at home in his next start.

Tim Adleman Turns In Second Straight Quality Start

Cincinnati Reds right-hander Tim Adleman cooled off a red-hot Toronto Blue Jays lineup on Wednesday, limiting them to three runs over six innings of work. Adleman struck out five and walked two in the game but wound up taking a no-decision. Adleman has notched two straight quality starts for his team, as he pitched eight shutout innings in his previous start. While Adleman doesn't have the track record to be fully trusted in standard leagues, his fine pitching has him in the streamer conversation in favorable matchups. He's also worth considering as a back-end starter in deeper NL-only leagues. He's slated to take on a very average St. Louis Cardinals offense next time out.

Tim Adleman Struggles Against Colorado On Saturday

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tim Adleman had a rough time against the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. He labored through 4 2/3 innings, coughing up six runs on seven hits while walking four and striking out four. Adleman had left his previous start with a sore neck, but it must have been a minor issue, as he made his start against the Rockies on schedule. Adleman is shaping up as a low-upside pitcher in fantasy. He offers slightly above-average strikeout potential, but he pitches in a home park that is tough on pitchers, and he hasn't shown much ability to limit run scoring so far in his career. He can be considered in deep leagues as a streamer in favorable matchups, but that's about it for now. In his next start, he will face an Indians offense that is starting to heat up.

Tim Adleman Hit Hard; Leaves Early With Neck Injury

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tim Adleman had a forgettable Sunday, as he was lit up for four runs in just one inning of work. He allowed three hits and walked two in the frame. To add injury to insult, Adleman left the game after the first inning with a neck strain, which he was apparently trying to pitch through during the first-inning fireworks. The injury must not be considered serious, as both Adleman and manager Bryan Price stated that they expect the young right-hander to make his next scheduled start. If that is indeed the case, Adleman will toe the rubber against the Rockies in his next start.
