Zac Rosscup Optioned to Triple-A
The Chicago Cubs optioned reliever Zac Rosscup back to Triple-A on Tuesday when recalling reliever Felix Pena. Rosscup had just been called up on Monday and faced just two batters, getting both out. It seems manager Joe Maddon is determined to test out all of his Triple-A relievers in the big leagues. Rosscup is highly unlikely to have more fantasy relevance anytime soon, but at least he made the most of his small opportunity. He could certainly be back up in the majors later in the season.
